Seeds For Your Lenten Soil

Lent has begun. It is a season for changing deeply. Here are some words to encourage that.

Please take 30 prayerful minutes to watch this talk by Tim Keller. Then, taking whatever seeds are sown into your heart, pray. May the seeds not fall on the busy, worn, ephemeral, shallow ground of “Oh, that was nice”. Instead, ask the Holy Spirit to make your soil like thick, zesty, Iowan soil - and for the seeds to take deep roots.

Oh Lord, how we long to change deeply!

The Lord said to Cain, “Why are you angry, and why has your countenance fallen? If you do well, will you not be accepted? And if you do not do well, sin is lurking at your door; it’s desire is for you, but you must master it.” (Genesis 4:6-7)

however I just wanted to ask. Appreciate it!
