Pete Burak is the Director of i.d.9:16. He is a 2010 graduate of Franciscan University of Steubenville, and has a Master’s in Theology from Sacred Heart Major Seminary in Detroit, MI. Pete is a frequent speaker at numerous youth and young adult events, and he is the Camp Co-Director of Pine Hills Boys Camp. Pete and his wife Cait, have two daughters, Grace and Erin, and a new baby boy, Donovan.
Mary Kathleen (Katie) Perrotta, an Ann Arbor native, is a recent graduate of Eastern Michigan University where she studied Communications, Marketing, and Nonprofit Administration. She has been active since high school in youth ministry and pro-life outreach. She’s volunteered at Pine Hills Girls Camp for 6 years and interned with Be Love Revolution. She served for two years as President of Eastern Michigan University Students for Life, the campus pro-life advocacy group, for which she was awarded the Student Gold Medallion Award for Collegiate Leadership. During college, Katie was also selected as a Wilberforce Fellow with Students for Life of America, a yearlong, nationwide leadership program focused on mentoring young pro-life leaders.
Katie recently joined i.d. 9:16 as Program Coordinator, devoting her time to furthering the impact of i.d.9:16 via social media, running the Ann Arbor chapter and serving the leadership of various chapters, nationwide. She also serves on the Executive Board of ArborWoman, a pro-life medical center in Ann Arbor. Katie has ten siblings, loves banana-headbands, Liturgy of the Hours, kayaks, hammocks, and Latin chanting.
