Fostering Our Sexuality

Many things will pass away if and when we get to Heaven. However, our sexuality will remain. We are either a man or a woman forever. It must be pretty darn important, then.

Our sexuality is integral to our humanity in a very privileged way. It’s so uniquely important that when God describes how we are made, He only mentions two things: He created us in His image and male and female. This is why it is vital to have more and more light revealed into our minds about what exactly sexuality is and points to. And with all the crud and lies that swirl around in our culture – flattening and homogenizing God’s masterpiece – it is good to take some time to soak in the truth about God’s purpose for our sexuality.
