A Song For Which There Are No Words

This is one of the best Christmas songs around with which to just sit and pray. Desperation, glory, newness, joy, wonder, surprise, salvation, beauty, the fulfillment of a promise and simple surrender – they are all here.

My typical response to this song is, “How is it that I should exist? I don’t have to exist, yet I do exist… and will exist… forever.” Immediate, boundless gratitude (for which there are no words). Existence itself is the greatest blessing, is it not?

Enjoy, people.
